Solving the structure of Pla l 1 elucidated the preserved fold of Ole e 1-like proteins while IgE cross- 33 reactivity in this family is limited to molecules with high sequence identity. Diagnostic accuracy using 34 source-specific Ole e 1-like molecules is essential for discriminating plantain from other pollen 35 allergies.
