RETURN/REFUND POLICY
Uncompleted Transactions and Cancellation of Orders.
Customer may cancel an Order prior to pickup by Approved Shipper at Approved Shipper’s shipping point. In such case, no payment will be due to JASCO.
After delivery of Products to an Approved Shipper but prior to acceptance of Products by Customer, Customer may cancel an Order by contacting JASCO within the five (5) day acceptance period provided for in JASCO’s Shipping Policy. JASCO will provide Customer with disposition instructions and may charge the Customer for shipping expenses and restocking fees.
Returns.
All returns, replacements, technical services and support shall be handled by JASCO as follows: Products described below may be returned to JASCO within 30 calendar days for replacement or adjustment. To assure prompt handling, Customer should obtain a reference number for such returned Products and reference this number on the return shipping documents. Products returned without this number shall be returned to Customer freight collect. JASCO reserves the right to reverse any credit issued to Customer: (i) for any Product authorized to be returned by JASCO and not timely returned; or (ii) if upon return, JASCO determines that a returned Product is not defective.
JASCO will grant full credit for: (i) Products not supplied in accordance with Customer’s Order; and (ii) Products which are defective at time of receipt by Customer.
JASCO will grant partial credit for Products ordered in error with the exceptions noted below. Products returned for Orders place in error shall be subject to a 25% restocking charge plus any applicable charges for any necessary inspection, reworking or refurbishing or for items not regularly catalogued by JASCO. Hazardous materials authorized for return must be packed, labeled and shipped in accordance with DOT regulations and other applicable requirements.
JASCO will not grant credit for: (i) Products which have been discontinued; (ii) Products which have been personalized or customized; (iii) non-JASCO Products supplied to Customer as an accommodation; (iv) Products not purchased from JASCO; (v) refrigerated or temperature controlled Products; (vi) Products which are outdated, shelf-worn, or defaced or otherwise unsuitable for restocking and resale; (vii) reagents or chemicals which have been opened; or (viii) Products that have been shipped outside the United States.
PRODUCT WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER
Orders placed for Products on this Website are subject only to the relevant manufacturer’s warranty terms in effect at the time of Order placement, which warranty terms shall be made available to Customer upon request. JASCO warrants only that the Products delivered shall conform substantially with the description of such Products as provided on the Website. Any warranties provided herein inure solely to the benefit of the Customer initially placing the order and are non-transferrable. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Customer’s exclusive remedy from JASCO and any Supplier with respect to Products proved to JASCO’s satisfaction to be defective or non-conforming shall be the replacement of such Product without charge or refund of the purchase price, upon return of the Product in accordance with JASCO’s instructions prior to acceptance by Customer. IN NO EVENT SHALL JASCO, JASCO’S PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATES OR ANY SUPPLIER BE LIABLE UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY IN TORT OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND) FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS) EVEN IF CUSTOM PRODUCTS ARE DELIVERED TO CUSTOMER BASED UPON INSTRUCTIONS, SPECIFICATIONS OR OTHER DIRECTIONS CUSTOMER PROVIDES TO JASCO, OUR PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES OR AFFILIATES AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE LACK OF SUFFICIENCY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR QUALITY OF GOODS TO THE EXTENT ATTRIBUTABLE TO SUCH INSTRUCTIONS, SPECIFICATIONS OR OTHER DIRECTIONS.
