  • Regional Sales Representatives/Product Specialist (Mid-Atlantic SC to MD)

    Overview

    We are looking for a talented individual to join our molecular spectroscopy sales team covering the mid-Atlantic region. Typical duties include territory planning, traveling to visit customers, product presentations and demonstrations. Occasional travel outside of the US may be required.

    Required Skills/Knowledge:

    Previous sales experience in molecular spectroscopy (vibrational and/or electronic) products with Raman experience preferred.

    A background and/or qualifications in chemistry, physics or photonics, and including material science would be a distinct advantage.

  • Field Service Engineer (SW/SE region U.S.)

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Perform installations, preventative maintenance and repairs of molecular spectroscopy and HPLC/SFC products. Troubleshoots and resolve service issues, work independently and prioritize own work schedule. Additional responsibilities: Maintain own tools and parts inventory to ensure adequate supply. Maintain technical knowledge of products  at regular in-house training programs, travel, telephone contact with manager and technical specialists. Perform administrative duties. Required interactions: sales team, service engineers and managers, technical support, and field applications

    Required Skills/Knowledge:

    Skills normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree (B.S. /B.A.) in life science, engineering, or equivalent levels of job training and experience, preferably,  proven field service experience and familiarity with chromatography and/or spectroscopy is preferred. Job skills: strong technical skills for installation and repair of analytical instruments in chemistry, biochemistry or molecular biology labs. Strong analytical skills to assess and prioritize account service needs. Effective communication and customer service skills.

    Job Knowledge:

    Intermediate electro-mechanical or laboratory knowledge of analytical instrumentation including chromatography, spectroscopy, microscopy. Additional job abilities: Can perform independently and as part of a team. Must be able to travel within assigned geography and other territories in the U.S. Ability to instill customer satisfaction that is recognizable and valuable to the customer.
