THE WAY WE USE INFORMATION
JASCO uses your Personal Information in order to conduct its legitimate business activities which include, but are not limited to, fulfilling information and other requests, marketing, promotion, recruiting, internal research and reporting, providing and improving products and services, enforcing our Terms and personalizing content that you view on our Website. We use passively collected information to personalize features of the Website and otherwise to generally improve the content, design and navigation of the Website. YOU MAY CONTROL DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and our mobile applications include a do-not-track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
THE WAY WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
JASCO does not sell any Personal Information to third parties. We may, however, disclose Personal Information to our vendors, service providers, distributors and marketing partners in order to conduct our legitimate business activities. JASCO may also need to disclose your Personal Information as required by law or to protect its legal rights.
JASCO shares your Personal Information with its vendors, distributors and service providers (“Sub-Processors”) in order to conduct its legitimate business activities. These activities may include, but are not limited to, the provision of spectroscopy and chromatography products and services, and related infrastructure, customer service, email delivery, electronic commerce and other services we provide to our customers. JASCO may also share your Personal Information with its marketing partners, to permit them to send you marketing communications. Currently, JASCO’s partners include Shopify and Microsoft. JASCO will bind it Sub-Processors to contractual terms which are as protective of the Personal Information you provide us as those in this Privacy Policy, but JASCO is not responsible for any data which you provide to a Sub-Processor directly and we encourage you to review any terms or privacy policy information on any third-party website you visit or which is linked to from our Website.
JASCO shares your Personal Information with its affiliates for its legitimate business purposes and may disclose or transfer your Personal Information pursuant to a re-organization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, or other transfer or disposition of all or any portion of our business.
