   We will maintain an environmental management system and strive for continuous improvement.
2. Compliance with legal requirements, etc.
   We comply with legal requirements related to the environment both domestically and internationally, including other environmental requirements to which we have agreed.
3. Environmental contribution through business activities
   (1) We provide superior analytical equipment and analytical services that support science and technology that contribute to the global environment.
   (2) We will make effective use of resources to prevent the depletion of the earth’s resources.
   (3) If there are any environmental pollutants, we will continuously monitor the discharge status and take steps to prevent environmental pollution.
   (4) We will promote green procurement and green purchasing and strive to reduce our environmental impact.

In 1992, the Global Environmental Conference (commonly known as the Earth Summit) was held in Rio, Brazil, and global environmental issues were discussed. At this time, Agenda 21, an action plan with the hope of passing on a rich and bright global environment to the descendants of mankind, was adopted. In September 1996, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established the ISO 14000 series of “Environmental Management System Standards” in order to accurately follow Agenda 21. ISO14001 is the core standard of the ISO14000 series, and defines how to build an environmental management system.
