BeStSel (Beta Structure Selection) is a novel method for the secondary structure determination and fold recognition from protein circular dichroism spectra. Developed by Dr. József Kardos and Dr. Micsonai András, BeStSel is widely used around the world – around 7,000 spectrum analyses are performed monthly worldwide on the BeStSel server and the BeStSel paper published in 2015 has received more than 1,200 citations in scientific journals so far.
On January 24th, 2023, JASCO Corporation hosted a lecture by Dr. József Kardos from Eötvös Loránd University and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue to contribute to the protein research field with Dr. Kardos’s BeStSel, aiming for further evolution of Circular Dichroism Spectroscopy products.
