HPLC and UHPLC Systems

The LC-4000 series is the latest in the long history of innovative HPLC systems developed by JASCO reaching back to the early 1970’s.

Whether requirements demand semi-micro or preparative, low pressure or high pressure, basic or complex and anything in between, we have a system to meet those needs. The system platforms provide 500 bar, 700 bar or 1300 bar for conventional HPLC, Rapid HPLC and UHPLC, respectively. Each platform includes a dedicated pump and auto-sampler matched to the operating pressure with a variety of 100 Hz acquisition detectors and specific flow cells designed for narrow peaks in RHPLC and UHPLC.

Advances in the new solvent delivery mechanism offer the highest stability in solvent delivery across the entire analytical flow range. The compact design of the preparative pumps provides flow rates up to 50 mL/min while maintaining the small analytical pump footprint. Using our extensive optical spectroscopy knowledge, we have adopted the designs of our spectrometers to develop HPLC detectors with unrivaled performance, like the new class leading FP-4020 fluorescence detector boasting a S/N of over 2300:1. Each component is designed for easy maintenance with front panel access to light sources and other consumables.

ChromNAV 2.0, the next generation CDS, was also released to control the new LC-4000 (as well as the previous LC-2000 series) designed from the powerful and easy-to-use ChromNAV 1.0 with a host of new features. The new customizable graphical-user-interface permits the user to set up the display with only the functions needed for their application. This intuitive interface allows the user to quickly learn the operation of the system and easily process data automatically or manually after the sample has run. ChromNAV 2.0 also has optional add-ons of 21 CFR Part 11, GPC and Fraction Collection.
