Abstract

DNA is believed to be a promising candidate for molecular logic computation, and the fluorogenic/colorimetric substrates of G-quadruplex DNAzyme (G4zyme) were broadly used as label-free output reporters of DNA logic circuits. Herein, we for the first time applied Tyramine-HCl (a fluorogenic substrate of G4zyme) to DNA logic computation and constructed a series of label-free DNA-input logic gates, including the elementary AND, OR, INHIBIT logic gates and a 2 to 1 encoder. Furthermore, a DNA calliper which could measure the base number of DNA as low as 3 bases was also fabricated. And this DNA calliper could also perform concatenated AND-AND logic computation, fulfilled the requirements of sophisticated logic computing.
