Abstract

he chiral perylene dimer shows strong fluorescence with quantum efficiency as high as 88 % and with significantly large circularly polarized dissymmetry, gCPL=3×10−3. Its promising chiroptical properties, originating from the efficient intramolecular exciton coupling between the fluorescent groups, make it suitable for use as a standard reference.
